Liebherr CBB heavy lift cranes

Liebherr CBB heavy lift cranes

With capacities ranging from 120 t to 450 t, CBB cranes cover the main area of the heavy lift segment. Above that range the delivery program includes new developments with lifting capacities up to 1000 t SWL. One of the main advantages of CBB cranes is their low self-weight. This has a positive effect on the stability of the vessel as well as cargo handling – simultaneously increasing safety and performance.

Liebherr CBG 360

Liebherr CBG 360

Liebherr’s new innovation, the CBG 360, is a robust four-rope grab crane designed for high speed bulk handling. Many years of experience from the operation of the CBG series have been put into the development of the new crane, which has a maximum capacity of 60 tonnes in hook operation and 48 tonnes in grab operation. Boom lengths between 26 and 36 metres are possible and the outreach of the crane can be extended by up to 12 metres through an additional excentre platform.

Liebherr HLC

Liebherr HLC

The latest product development in the offshore business made by Liebherr is the heavy lift crane (HLC). The HLC is the biggest crane Liebherr has developed so far. Based on the proven BOS design, the heavy lift crane has a lattice boom which allows high outreaches. A lifting height in excess of 170 meters will be provided. With a lifting capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes, the heavy lift crane will be used in the wind farm, oil and gas as well as the decommissioning sector.
